Now that the election is over the "Power Brokers" (PBs) will return to the forefront to get government backing for the construction of the MPC. That financing envisions government bonds backed by the sales taxes from a block of commercial develop in existence today (like St B?). If the Center and commercial development to be built around it fail to produce the required funds for payment of the notes; then sales tax proceeds from the set aside commercial block (St B?) will be diverted to pay for the notes used to build the MPC. Well I guess it is really clear that I got the crap kicked out of me in the on the 3rd August. The Power Brokers (PBs) have gotten their way and the citizens have unwittingly elected a cabal with the strings being pulled from hidden places.
Statements of the elected mayor (Not direct quotes):
1. Bring people together and get advice from prominent citizens. (Means rule of the wealthy behind the scene PBs). Maybe compromise to the point of surrendering principles.
2. The school system will get what they need. (What that means is that taxes will be raised to give the school system what they need/want. You see, if the school system wants it, then it is a need and must be funded). Think about the funding over the last 8 years, has the sky fallen on Chicken Little’s head? No, it has not. Each year we funded the System IAW the State Law mandates. So it is clear, that all that bull that we heard year after year about the school system being grossly under-funded was just that – bull.
